Will my dog get exercised everyday?

Our runs are quite large and in addition we take your dog out for potty breaks 3 – 4 a
day.  Additional Playtime sessions of 15 minutes are offered for $5 per session.

Can I bring their bedding?  Can I bring their favorite toys?

We do offer soft fleecy blankets at no charge but you may bring a blanket from home
as your pet’s personal bedding. We DO NOT accept any over sized or stuffed
bedding. If it has a zipper chances are that we won't accept the bed. We do ask that
you limit the size of your pet’s blanket to easily fit in our washing machine. We always
try to give your bedding back clean.  Your pets may have one or two toys to play with
them in their suite. Your pet’s toys will stay with them in their suites and we do our
best to return all toys. Occasionally, a toy may be lost during a playtime or cleaning.

My dog is on a special diet.  Can I bring in my own food?

We are proud to feed and recommend Diamond Pet Foods in our kennel.  Diamond
produces a high quality, premium dog and cat food. However, if you pet requires a
special diet, we encourage you to bring their food when boarding at no additional
charge. Our trained associates will follow your instructions to make sure your pet
receives his regular diet.

Is your boarding facility air-conditioned?

Barkingham Palace is fully air-conditioned for summer comfort and heated in the
winter.  We also have outdoor exercise runs and play yards for outdoor activity,
weather permitting.

Where is my dog going to the bathroom when in your care?

Barkingham Palace is extremely sanitary and safe. Dogs in our care will eliminate in
one of our three extra large exercise yards. Our highly trained staff continuously
monitors all elimination and consumption behavior, which is noted on each pet’s chart.

Can all my pets stay together in the same suite?

Absolutely! We can accommodate your wishes and board your pets together in the
same suite, as space allows. We can usually allow 3 dogs under 75 pounds to board
together in the same suite. This allows adequate space for each pet and promotes
comfort and safety. Up to 2 cats can be boarded together in one cat condo.

When should I book my reservation?

We book months in advance of most major holidays. We recommend that you make
your reservation as early as possible.

Do you require a deposit in advance of a boarding visit?

We do require a deposit for extended stay visits. We can keep your secure credit card
information on file so that we can charge the boarding expenses every 30 days as
needed.

My pet is diabetic and requires shots?

We do accept diabetic pets for boarding and will administer treatments as needed at
no additional charge.

Can my pet catch a disease by being kenneled with other pets?

The risk is quite low, as we require advance vaccinations to ensure a healthy
population of boarded guests.  We practice high sanitation standards.  We have taken
great pains to ensure that we provide a first-class, highly sanitary environment.
